Color: deep ruby with cassis reflections. Deeply coloured tears. Nose: black and red forest berries, sweet spices, graphite and oak. Complex and creamy. Palate: ripe black and red fruit, graphite and a slightly herbaceous note. Enveloping tannins and good acidity. Very persistent finish. Pairing: roasted venison fillet with rich jus and sautéed wild mushrooms. Comment: a deep, elegant and complex wine. Excellent drinkability. Cellaring 10–15 yars.
