A globally recognized oenologist, François Huré developed an early interest in viticulture, leading him to study biology at the University of Reims and then oenology at the University of Burgundy. With a National Diploma in Oenology in hand, he honed his skills by overseeing the winemaking at prestigious estates in France such as Domaine De Montille and Hospices de Beaune in Burgundy, as well as Domaine Ferraton and M. Chapoutier in Tain L'Hermitage. His career also took him abroad to Coldstream Hills Winery in Australia and Pegasus Bay Winery in New Zealand.
These experiences allowed him to master various techniques, successfully blending the ancestral viticultural practices of Champagne with more modern winemaking techniques from the New World.
Returning to France in 2005, his expertise and know-how led him, in 2008, to Champagne Brimoncourt, where he has held the position of cellar master since. His talent has now been recognized by The Drinks Business magazine, which has named him among the 100 “Master Winemakers” in the world for his contributions as an oenologist at Maison Brimoncourt. This is a notable acknowledgment among his peers.
